  Loved that y'all checked out the series, and hoping for a Season 2 as well! As for the pacing, I guess it didn't affect me personally. Then again, I watched it under the lens of a high fantasy series with some added attention to world-building. I saw it more as establishing atmosphere that the series should rightly be proud of. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  Honestly, when i first thought the dark crystal look peaceful, then saw how the characters first looked, i said in my head "somebody, erase my memory...." They looked like Muppets but deformed... Edit: I watched it with my sister on netflix, she enjoyed it but i was like... Uh nope not today.
